In less than 5 years, he climbed all the way up to head of online customer experience on a global scale. Before that, he had a successful 12-year career at P&G, where he was leading the company’s Fabric Care portfolio in Europe, and in his last role he was Head of Digital Marketing and e-commerce, accelerating P&G e-sales from single-digit increases to two consecutive years of growth rate above 25%. Manlio will use his knowledge of both B2B and B2C to chair the tracks on “Defining the Customer Journey” and “Developing Outstanding Brand Visibility” on 8 December.

With more than 8 years selling SaaS based software into the DACH market Thomas is one of the early starters in the German Could Software market. Selling SaaS across Finance, Telco, Media & Retail he has had a lot of exposure to the hard questions in SaaS and sold anything from $10k to Multimillions into these industries. With a CRM background at RightNow Technologies (now Oracle Service Cloud) and Adobe’s Digital Marketing before joining Marketo, he has focused on becoming an expert helping companies better understand their customer and engage with them wherever they are. 

When not thinking about customer engagement, Thomas is a sports aficionado and spends time cycling, in the gym, playing golf or tennis. Thomas leads the Central EMEA region for Marketo.
